MJ has been with Moksha since day one. Her journey began 2002 with Daryl Vansier while she completed a 200-hour teacher training of Dyvia yoga: a simple and soft practice that allows for the body to open up. Practicing Ashtanga eventually led her to make the acquaintance of guest-teacher Hart Lazer white whom she completed another 200-hour teacher training in 2006. Lazer had an important influence on her regarding the alignment and the precision in the yoga that she teaches.
She firmly believes that the first mediation begins with the mindfulness of one’s body movement in the space. As mother since 2006, MJ has grown to be more and more in contact with this ever-changing body and it has deepened the search to the inner strength that comes from the simple attention that can be brought to one’s self. Her partaking to different workshops lead by various internationally renowned teachers brought her to give her own workshops on alignment and the deepening of the practice (most frequently to Moksha Yoga NDG).
Her energizing smile will give you what it take to get you through a class – where the discipline of the alignment could very well take you by surprise.
